Per City and County of Honolulu Emergency Order #2021-09, dated July 2, “All individuals shall wear face coverings over their noses and mouths when in public settings. The only exceptions to this requirement are individuals with medical conditions or disabilities where the wearing of a face covering may pose a health or safety risk to the individual, children under the age of 5…”

No recreational activities are allowed in any common area per the House Rules

  • This includes the lawns, landscaped areas, hallways and stairways

Swimming Pool and Pool Area

  • The pool and sundeck are available to all residents between the hours of 8am and 9pm, daily
  • Limit 4 guests per apartment per visit and no more than 10 people in the pool area at one time


The Diamond Head Sands Association of Apartment Owners has taken enhanced health and safety measures to protect you, our residents, apartment owners, and guests to the property.  It is important that you follow all posted instructions while residing in or visiting Diamond Head Sands. Notice of Roof and Gutter Work Through 10/29

Please be advised that beginning Wednesday, September 29, Pacific Industrial Coatings and Belmonte Roofing will be working on the 3731 and 3741 Kanaina Ave buildings.  The work will take approximately 4 weeks to complete.

During this time, expect contractors on the roof above and around your apartment and some noise as repairs are made to the roof, gutters and downspouts. 

If you have questions or would like additional details, please contact the building manager.  Mahalo for your understanding as these necessary repairs are being made.
